Kemp Conrad is Principal of Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Advisors, LLC – the leading tenant and corporate advisory firm in the mid-south region and President and a Principal of Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Advisors Asset Services, LLC, a leading third party provider of leasing, property management, and project management services with a portfolio of approximately 35 MSF representing $1BB in value.
Since Kemp joined the firm as President of Asset Services, business revenues have increased 215% (36% per annum), net income has quadrupled, employee growth has doubled and 20 MSF of product has been added. In 2010, the firm won the prestigious Memphis Business Journal “Small Business of the Year” Award.
In addition, as Principal for Commercial Advisors, LLC, Kemp is consistently one of the top brokers in the region and his Global Portfolio Solutions Team handles the real estate needs of long term clients with a global footprint of approximately 20MM SF. Kemp has completed transactions in thirty two states and ten countries. He has also completed a wide range of strategic planning and transaction assignments with a focus on creative deal-making focusing on benchmark and metric creation and measurement. In 2016, he was named one of the top 20 industrial brokers in the country by Cushman & Wakefield, a designation given annually to the top 20 Cushman & Wakefield brokers based on their real estate production.
Prior to joining the firm he was the Memphis City Leader for Trammell Crow Co. Kemp’s unique position brings the tenant and landlord perspective to the table for his clients. As a collaborator internally, Kemp serves on the Cushman & Wakefield Industrial & Supply Chain Executive Committee. This committee consists of only eight C&W brokers in the U.S. out of 600+, and he is the only member from an Alliance firm on the committee. The committee serves as the Board of Directors for the Americas industrial platform. He also holds a SIOR, dual designation for both office and industrial, which only 152 other SIOR designees hold out of over 3,100. Kemp was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and earned his MBA from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. His BA is from Rhodes. Kemp serves on the Memphis City Council, representing half of the city – approximately 350,000 people – and in 2015 he was elected Vice Chairman. He is also a past member of the Board of Trustees of the National Civil Rights Museum. Kemp is married to the former Anne McGrew and they have two young children. They are active members of Second Presbyterian Church.
